MS Neurology Care Clinic was established in Ridgeland, Mississippi in August of 2020 to provide access to neurology-based care for Mississippians and individuals in surrounding states experiencing various neurological conditions.
Dr. Amanda Greene is a board certified nurse practitioner and founder of MS Neurology Care Clinic, with over 30 years experience in healthcare. She completed dual masters’ degrees and dual residencies in family practice and women's health.
Dr. Greene completed a fellowship in Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and Neuro-immunology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center under the guidance and leadership of world renowned MS expert, Dr. Robert M. Herndon. She completed her doctorate degree of clinical research in patients with demyelinating diseases of the central nervous system.
Dr. Greene currently manages a practice of more than 1500 patients with demyelinating diseases of the central nervous system, including MS, MOG and NMOSD. In addition, she treats seizures, headaches (migraines), optic neuritis, pseudo-tumor cerebri (increased intracranial hypertension), Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s Disease, and general neuropathies.
Dr. Greene collaborates with numerous colleagues (physicians, neurologists, NPs and Physician Assistant’s) for the best outcomes for her patients. She believes in a multi-disciplinary process that encompasses a holistic approach for the patients overall healthcare needs. Her primary focus is patient-centered, individualized, and evidenced-based care.

Jessica Lowery has over two decades of healthcare experience, with the last ten years as a nurse practitioner. Her area of practice has been internal medicine, along with a dedicated clinic for Hypertension. She is a Certified Hypertension Clinician (CHC) through the American Society for Hypertension/ American Heart Association. In addition, she has trained with top neurologists around the country for headache management. She has come to the MS Neurology Care Clinic after working at The Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ, where she specialized in internal medicine.
Jessica graduated from Hinds Community College with an Associate's Degree/ Registered Nurse degree in 2003, followed by a bachelor of nursing degree at The University for Women in Columbus, Mississippi. She graduated with a Master's in Nursing/ Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2013. She is a member of The American Heart Association, The National Headache Foundation, and the Mississippi Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is also a member of the American College of Physicians as a Nurse Practitioner member.
Jessica’s research experience includes serving as a clinical investigator with SPRINT (Systolic Blood Pressure Intervention Trial) with the University of Mississippi Medical Center Hypertension Research Team. In addition, she was a clinical investigator for phase II and III trials with the Headache Neurology Research Institute.
Jessica’s focus at the MS Neurology Care Clinic includes assessments and treatment for Headaches, Hypertension, Lipid Management, and Stroke prevention/ Post-stroke care. She is certified to treat pediatrics and adults for hypertension and headache medicine. She is certified in the administration of BOTOX for chronic migraine.
Kaylon Lewis is a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner originally from Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She attended an accelerated nursing program at William Carey University where she received a baccalaureate degree in nursing science. She also received a master’s degree of nursing science from William Carey University in nursing research and education. She then graduated with a post-master's degree in Adult Nurse Practitioner from the University of Mississippi Medical Center.
While attending her master’s and post-master's programs, Kaylon worked as a registered nurse for five years in the Neurosurgery and Neurology inpatient department at University of Mississippi Medical Center along with one year as an RN-research coordinator for department of infectious diseases. She was involved in numerous committees at the University of Mississippi Medical Center along with clinical experience as a student educator at Mississippi College School of Nursing and Hinds Community College School of Nursing.
Kaylon has been practicing as a Neurology Nurse Practitioner for seven years. She practiced two of those years under highly skilled Neurologists at The Hattiesburg Clinic prior to five additional years with St Dominic Hospital’s Neurology department. Kaylon treats patients 13 years and older. She is skilled at diagnosing and treating various medical conditions with a specialty in neurological disorders.
Her experience in Neurology includes but is not limited to diagnosing and/or managing of the following: various types of dementias, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), balance disorders, bell’s palsy, brain lesions, cerebral aneurysms, Guillain-Barre syndrome, various headache disorders, traumatic brain injuries, hydrocephalus, spinal radiculopathies, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy, Parkinson's, post stroke symptoms, myasthenia gravis, seizure disorders, neuropathy, dizziness, and many more.
Dr. Patrick Weldon is from Louisiana. He completed his internship and Neurology residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center and has been in practice over 20 years.
He currently serves as the Chief of Staff for Merit Hospitals. In addition, he also serves as the Chairman of Neurology and Director of the Neuro ICU for Central, River Oaks, and Women's Hospitals.
